A while back, I was preparing for an NVIDIA interview. The on-air time was very tight, and they required the code I wrote to run smoothly right away, which was quite a challenge for me.
I tried to find an AI interview assistant to help me pass the technical interview. At first, I tested the 8 Best Free AI Interview Assistant Tools, but due to budget constraints, they didn’t subscribe to high-quality models capable of generating good coding test answers, nor did they offer sufficient technical support to bypass the interview platform’s detection mechanisms.
Later, I tried InterviewBee, but to be honest, the experience was quite disappointing. I encountered numerous issues during the interview process, such as failed resume uploads, registration failures, and being detected by the system while sharing my screen during the test interview session.
Then I looked into Linkjob AI Interview Assistant. Like InterviewBee, it can be used for technical interviews, but Linkjob’s features are much more robust. What impressed me most is that it is completely a invisible AI interview copilot. As a desktop application, it leverages operating system-level integration to bypass detection by interview platforms and browsers. This means it remains completely invisible even during screen sharing or tab tracking.
Thanks to Linkjob AI, I’ve successfully passed my interviews. In this article, I’ll share my real-world experience using both products and compare their features.

Explore the differences between InterviewBee and Linkjob AI.

The fundamental difference between Linkjob and Interviewbee is that Linkjob is software-based (a desktop app), while Interviewbee is web-based (a browser-based application); this is closely related to their discretion during interviews.
Online interview platforms primarily monitor candidates through the following methods:
Screen sharing: Interviewers/proctors can view everything you share via Zoom, Google Meet, or the platform's built-in tools—with no exceptions.
Record the entire answer-submission process: A video replay featuring a live presenter will be provided later to check for any unusual actions.
Code Paste Detection: flags extensive or frequent pasting within the code editor—considered potential cheating.
Tab Switching/Window Focus Loss: Detects when you leave the interview tab or click outside the browser, though it cannot see what you switch to.
As a desktop AI interview assistant, Linkjob is virtually undetectable in any scenario. Whether it’s a standard interview or a coding interview, and whether you’re sharing a single window or your entire screen, it remains completely invisible in every situation.

As a web-based AI interview assistant, InterviewBee provides real-time talking points in a separate browser tab during live interviews, helping users organize their answers and recall key experiences. If a user attempts to switch tabs, the system will detect this as cheating.

Since the mock interview feature is one of InterviewBee’s main selling points, I was particularly interested in this aspect—and I found it to perform above average.
When I first started using InterviewBee’s AI mock interview tool, I was looking for a realistic interview experience. As a purely voice-based mock interview platform, InterviewBee actually offers a fairly comprehensive set of features. The platform uses an AI interviewer to simulate a real interview scenario.
It’s worth noting that my friend encountered some issues uploading their resume and was unable to access the mock interview page. It seems the system there is a bit unstable.

InterviewBee offers not only AI-powered mock interviews and real-time AI interview assistants, but also additional features such as a question bank and job postings. These features are quite broad in scope, particularly the job listings. They do not provide detailed job descriptions, nor do they include clickable links to verify whether the job information is up to date. This was a bit disappointing to me.
Linkjob also offers a mock interview feature. After uploading your resume in the settings menu, its cutting-edge AI model will ask questions tailored to your background and follow up with additional inquiries. The follow-up questions flow naturally and are appropriately challenging.
Another unique feature of Linkjob is that it offers a variety of advanced settings to make the live interview process more convenient; for example, you can hide desktop icons and configure prompts to help the AI model run more efficiently during the live interview.
I couldn’t find some of these features at first, but their official tutorial videos explain all the features in great detail.
InterviewBee appears to be a time-based subscription service, but there are strict usage limits during each subscription period.

Clearly, InterviewBee’s subscription fees are significantly higher than those of other similar products on the market, and its usage restrictions are quite strict: you’re limited to a maximum of 20 mock interviews per month (with the lowest tier offering only 5), and only 10 live interview coaching sessions (with the lowest tier offering only 5). I know its response time is very fast, but I still don’t think it’s worth the price.
Linkjob AI also offers subscription plans, but users can access all features with no usage limits. Subscription pricing is as follows: $100 per month for monthly plans, $70 per month for quarterly plans, and $30 per month for annual plans.

I think paying for LinkJob is well worth it. One reason is that during my subscription period, I have unlimited access to all its features at any time. As you can see in the table above, it uses a very good AI model, and the answers it provides are both highly accurate and detailed.
Linkjob is software-based and can bypass detection by all interview platforms, whereas InterviewBee is web-based and will be detected as cheating by interview platforms when switching pages or sharing screens.
Yes, you can. Linkjob AI stays invisible while you interview. The floating window never shows up on screen shares. You get help without your interviewer knowing. This feature gives you confidence in every interview.
Absolutely. You can practice technical interview questions and behavioral interview scenarios. The ai assistant covers coding, finance, and design interviews. You get a complete interview experience, not just code generation.
Linkjob AI tracks your interview performance with detailed reports. You see your strengths and areas for improvement after each interview. InterviewBee offers basic feedback, but you want deeper insights for your interview growth.
