This might be because there are more people applying for Optiver's 2027 Summer Internship for SWE, and because these types of questions are really tricky – especially when you think about how many there are, the time limit, and how complex the problems are. I'd rather not deal with that.

For anyone applying for the Quant Trader and Quant Researcher roles, it's more about how quickly you can reason.
I'm not going to pretend I'd be able to solve a tricky maths problem if I was asked, based on my experience with other OAs. I'd probably only have a few minutes to get it done.
